Ok, dear friends and here´s some more background regarding the actual party. I already took the time to investigate everything a little on my bike in advance. Now the plan for the 10th of June is the following; In the morning Mum and Dad will marry at the register office of Darmstadt. I will of course be present to watch that Dad really sign´s, I mean at the end I´m one of the central reasons for him to do so. But, as the whole office only holds a few people, Mum and Dad have decided that only my Grandparents and my aunts and uncles can participate in that part. After this exhausting action, we will go somewhere in Darmstadt to recover during a small lunch. Then everybody can go back home for a short brake and to get changed for the big event in the evening. Since there´s no garantuee that it will not rain that evening, I highly recommend everybody to bring their wellis. Which does not mean that the barbaque place we´ll be at does not provide any shelter, but since so many of you are coming, one or the other might find himself outside in the rain, or might have to walk through some puddles in order to get the next beer. No, of course that’s all a joke, but seriously, do not wear your best cocktail dress or smoking, or you might risk some dirt marks on it. And I don´t want anybody to blame it on me, just because I havn´t told you!
